On the positive side, when it works, order executions are fast and efficient. There are times however, when initially starting/loading - it cannot connect to the server or has timeout issues. ThinkorSwim or StreetSmartEdge? I received an email from Schwab about enabling ToS access in my Schwab account. We can use either of the two - if you enable ToS on your account, you cannot use SSE. I actually just moved to Schwab and asked all these questions. We will have access to TOS next fall. SSE will continue to be a standalone platform for the foreseeable future. If thinkorswim were available tomorrow, I'd delete SSE in a nanosecond and never look back. They both have strengths and weaknesses.
